Themes in Conceptual Film

I am interested in incorporating psychological and philosophical themes into my work. I want the focus of my work to be about the inner mind and also what makes us human.  Other themes that interest me are: dreams and fantasy images, expression of authority, and time, which are all under the theme of death and burial.
Those themes, fantasy, authority, and time can connect and add to the overall theme of psychology and the inner workings of the human mind. We all have dreams and fantasies that are different for each of us. People that have power or authority over us also shape who we are or what we do which connects to the psychological theme that I’m interested in having appear in my work. Also, time plays another factor in our lives. So I’m interested in incorporating psychological and philosophical themes, but I also want to include sub themes about fantasy, authority, and time.
I’m interested in having philosophical themes appear in my work too. There are so many things to question about life. What makes us who we are? What is the point of life? What makes someone sane or insane? What is reality? Something that I’m really interested in including in my work is questioning what is real, which also connects back to the fantasy theme, but at the same time includes the philosophical theme. Also it will allow me to play with special effects.
I want to make films that make people think and I believe integrating psychological and philosophical themes will help me achieve my goal.
