The Spies Among Us

This is a "rough draft" of the film.


Things I am going to fix:

-Add tv click sound when channels change in the beginning
-fix audio for dinner scene (get rid of buzz in background)
-fix audio volume where it is loud in some scenes but quiet in others
-fix scene when Julius exits and door closes twice
-add music when screen says "Are the Rosenbergs actually innocent?" (also get rid of apostrophe in rosenberg)
-cut out flash of older David's face where it isn't supposed to be
-Add more to credits (specify roles)
-edit music fading in and out (some of it cuts too abruptly)

Some things I might add or fix:

-Title introduction before interrogation scene? (If so, make it fit for the 1950s)
-make the scenes with people acting look more worn, like old film instead of just black and white with noise--- (already know how in after effects)
- add more photos during President speech and make the camera zoom in slowly OR use the 3d photo effect (tutorial on video copilot)
- add additional footage for execution scene after Julius speaks. (Maybe even add electricity effect?)

Claymation Critique Reflection

What I feel that I did best on is the timing and easing between movements. I think I did a good job making the movements less robotic.

 I could improve on making sure my story is clear. Also, I could improve the lighting effects.

My classmates said I did a good job modeling the characters. Also they thought the audio worked well with my claymation.

They suggested that I watch out for dog hair sticking to my characters.


My strengths are focusing on details, ease of movements, characters and set design. I could make these strengths even better by not procrastinating and spreading out my tasks.


My weakness is my knowledge of after effects and premier. (and dog hair...)
